Each Monday night during the season is Stuff the Pantry night.This offer is good for Ohio residents only. Bring at least two cans of food per person plus your valid Ohio ID and save $10 per person. Offer good beginning at 2PM the day of the show for in person sales only.
On Tuesday-Thursday nights you can sit in the front row for just $10! This is a walk up only promotion, beginning at 6PM and tickets are sold cash only first come first served.
The Living History Tour has three performances left, and is offered every Saturday afternoon! Tickets are just $5, and the tour immerses your group in what it was like living on the frontier in the late 1700's.
Our gift shop is carrying a large new line of shirts, hats, toys and Native American Crafts this year!
The Mountain Terrace Buffet offers an all American all you care to eat buffet each evening beginning at 4:30.

LOCAL MEDICARE
PRESENTATIONS SCHEDULED
Are you a Medicare beneficiary? Want to find out more information about
how the Medicare Annual Coordinated Election Period can work for you?
Want to stay informed and healthy and save money? If so, then mark your
calendar for Medicare informational presentations and counseling events
that will be available this Fall in your county.
These free events are made possible by the Ohio Department of
Insurance's Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP),
which travels the state each fall to help Ohioans, family members and caregivers understand the different Medicare coverage options and available financial assistance. Medicare's Annual Coordinated Election Period starts October 15th and ends December 7th. During this time, Medicare beneficiaries can evaluate their current coverage and make the determination on whether they should switch to a plan that will better support their needs. Those on Medicare are strongly encouraged to attend a session, which will provide helpful information and assistance.
The Area Agency on Aging District 7 (AAA7) can also help you throughout the year to answer any questions you might have concerning your Medicare coverage, specifically with help surrounding the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage Low Income Subsidy "Extra Help" Program and the Medicare Savings Program (assistance with Part B premium). If you would like to learn more about these programs and whether or not you are eligible to receive discounts on your prescription drugs, please call our office at 1-800-582-7277 and ask for extension 250.

During the just-completed season, the Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, once again led the Prospect League in both overall attendance and average attendance per game.
This season, the Paints hosted an average of 1,959 fans per game, most in franchise history and second-most in Prospect League history. It also marked the fourth consecutive season that the Paints have seen a growth in attendance and the fourth consecutive season that the Paints have led the league in both total attendance and per-game average.
"We are grateful and humbled to once again lead the Prospect League in attendance," said Chillicothe Paints managing partner Bryan Wickline. "This 25th season was a special one for the Paints."
This season, Chillicothe also set a new franchise and Prospect League attendance record with a season-total attendance of 58,755 over 30 home games. It's the eighth time in the nine-year history of the Prospect League that the Paints have had the largest total attendance. The Paints have led the league in average attendance five times.
"We made numerous memories this season and, as always, we are proud to call southern Ohio the home of the Paints," Wickline added.
According to a list compiled by Ballpark Digest (www.ballparkdigest.com) of summer collegiate teams from across the country, the Paints ranked 10th in the nation in terms of total attendance. Chillicothe ranked 12th in terms of average attendance.

Registration is now live for Ohio's 2017 Recovery Conference! The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities Foundation, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, will be hosting Ohio's 2017 Recovery Conference on
September 11-12, 2017.
This will be our second annual Recovery Conference. Building on the amazing success from last year, this conference will offer education on topics relevant to recovery from a mental illness and/or addiction. The target audience for this conference will be individuals in recovery, family members, peers working in the field, and allied professionals. In addition to the wealth of information attendees will learn at the conference, during the evening of September 11th, we will be hosting the second annual Celebration of Recovery! This celebration will include dinner, sweet treats, games, dancing, and a talent show!

Can you volunteer a minimum of three hours a month at the Pike County Outreach Council food pantry?
The Outreach Council is looking for dedicated people to do intake or distribute food at the pantry located at 107 W. Second St. in downtown Waverly. The pantry is open Monday -Friday 9-3; Thursday evening 6-8; and Saturday 10-1. Call Autumn at 740-941-4348 if you can assist in this important ministry.
We operate the only food pantry in Pike County. Households may come to the pantry every 7 days. We offer a variety of food for Pike Countians at our choice pantry. We need you to either greet the customers and do the intake paperwork or assist our customers as they choose products from 15 or more categories.
We provided 308,259 meals in 2016.

ABANDONED GAS STATION CLEANUP
Grant Applications Now Open
The Cleanup and Remediation track of the Abandoned Gas Station Cleanup Grant Program is now accepting applications. Now grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. Funding totaling $4 million per fiscal year will be available for these grants. Applicants must have a minimum score of 50 points to be eligible for funding consideration.
Applications for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2018 will be accepted until April 30, 2018. Applications received after this date may be funded in SFY 2019.
Property Assessment and Fast Track grants are awarded on an on-going basis with no annual cap on funding, if the project meets minimum eligibility requirements.
