Maureen Harvey , the new President of Oklahoma Art Guild, is an Art Therapist who retired after 18 years working at the VA Medical Center on the In-Patient Psych ward and in the Substance Abuse Program. She enjoys painting figures on large canvases, collage, beadwork, most any kind of art, and making "things". Art Therapy uses the creative process to help people work on psychological issues, processing emotions and self-development. Maureen will lead us through an directive art experience to give us an idea of how this dynamic process works. Come with an open mind and have fun!

Let's celebrate 2016 with a special exchange of 20" x 16 " artwork. OAG will provide a 20" x 16" canvas for those who wish to work on canvas. Or, you may choose to create a non-canvas work with a maximum size of 20" x 16" or a 3-D work with a 2016 theme.

$20 gets you a canvas and admission for two

$10 gets you admission for one...no canvas

Only those who bring an original " 2016 - themed" work of art will participate in the exchange. All can participate in the finger foods and fun!
