3D Scan - Auto Measurement - Avatar Mesh
High Quality Avatar Mesh Generation
Need a high quality aesthetic output for your customer visualization needs? Now you can have it with our smooth, water-tight avatar mesh that is generated in just seconds after measurements are completed. Size Stream is actively working with major apparel CAD and 3D fashion visualization software companies to ensure compatibility of the Size Stream avatar meshes with their applications.
Over 100 new measurements!
Our available automatic measures have grown from 150 to over 250.
Real-time multi-scan sampling
Any way you measure, either manually or with measurement automation equipment, you can get some variation each time. A good way to minimize measurement variation is to measure multiple times and intelligently consolidate those results. Size Stream is introducing the first ever "real-time" 5X multi-sample measurement in a 3D body scanner. Test results show a greater than two-thirds reduction in measurement variation compared to single scans, enabling compliance with tough standards like ISO 20685. This new feature is only possible due to the speed of Size Stream scanning and data processing.
Measurement Logic Engine
You don't just want to take body measurements with your 3D scanner, you also want to do things like:
- recommend a garment size
- compute a garment alteration
- determine a body shape
- compute body fat percentage and body composition
...and on and on and on
With the new Size Stream measurement logic engine you can directly output any quantities such as these
by embedding formulas using measurement variables. Variables can include any measurements including tape-like or surface linear measures, surface areas, and volumes. In an industry first - you can now directly access 3D landmark points as variables for your formula needs.
Dual Handholds
Most 3D body scanners don't have any handholds. Now we are adding a second handhold for the best in subject stability and pose control (of course, their usage is optional).
Multi-Language Support
With our modern software platform we will rapidly be adding support for local languages as requested. Coming first in our August 2.4 software release will be French, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese!
Scan directly to the Cloud
Now you can connect your Size Stream 3D body scanner to save directly to cloud data storage services including Microsoft SkyDrive, DropBox, and Google Drive. It is a great way to collect data from multiple scanners in a common, easily accessible location.
