Can you believe it? The night of ghouls and goblins of all hallows eve has quickly come and gone. Another reminder how fast our
45th season is going. We are officially 2 months into the season and the courts are getting busier by the day. The only thing crazier than the weather is that the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians are in the World Series!
A special thank you to everyone that helped support our 2nd Annual Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center fundraiser. Whether you attended Beat the Pro or participated in our women's tournament or just took an extra lesson this past week, we thank you for your support! It seems almost everyone these days has some connection to someone that has or has had cancer, and certainly every little bit helps in helping to find a cure that we will, hopefully, see in our lifetimes.
Our fall USTA teams are all underway.
Team tennis has so many great benefits that go well beyond the baseline. The bonds that are forged from the tough losses, comeback wins, or a long after party, cannot be replicated by anything else.
We are happy to announce that we have now a mixed doubles USTA league team playing on Sunday's. Since we know that our adults have so much fun playing leagues, we wanted to make sure that our junior players had the opportunity to play some team tennis as well. In addition to the mixed doubles league, we have three Junior Tennis teams playing this fall. JTT's co-ed team format does a great job of adding in the additional social element of life and sport.
We hope all our players make some great memories this fall season and remember win or lose, always support your teammates!
