The NAFCA Honors are awarded to recognize outstanding individuals whose professional careers have been marked by extraordinary personal and professional accomplishments. Honorees and winners are awarded the NAFCA Trophies, officially the Award of Merit that is much better known by its nickname
NAFCA.
The award was first presented in 2011 to
President Nelson Mandela. Recipients of this award in subsequent years include

Ted Wizard Mills of the group Blue Magic, and many more. The NAFCA and The NAFCA Honors are designed to globally promote African Cinema and culture. The
I Dream 4 All Foundation (501c3) is producing this year's show and will donate proceeds to the Haitian and Florida communities.
