Beta Club Blood Drive
Give the Gift of Life
The Ridgecroft Beta Club is hosting a blood drive from  8:00 AM-1:00 PM  on  Friday, November 11 . Several blood drives in our area were cancelled because of the recent flooding, so the blood supply in our area is very low right now.  Please sign up to donate. There is a sign-up sheet in the office or you can go to  redcross.org  and schedule an appointment. The Red Cross now provides a service called RapidPass that allows donors to complete pre-reading and donation questions online the morning of the drive.  When you schedule an appointment, you will receive information on RadipPass. It should speed up the process and cut down on wait time. Students ages 16 and older are eligible to give blood, so please talk with your students about the importance of donating blood.

Bullying and Suicide Prevention Workshop
Choose Kindness
On Thursday, November 10, Dr. Elizabeth Marsal will give a presentation to middle and upper school students on bullying prevention, cyber bullying, and suicide prevention. Parents are welcome to attend the sessions, which will run from 8:15 AM to 9:55 AM for grades 5-8 and from 1:05 PM to 2:45 PM for grades 9-12.
Christmas Bazaar
Island of Misfit Toys
Ridgecroft's annual Christmas Bazaar will be held Friday, December 9 and we are looking for gently loved stuffed animals and books for the toy room. Please drop off any donations with Mrs. Riddick or in the front office.
Athletic Association Night of Fun
A Little "Pizazz"
Need a grown-up night out after the family fun of Thanksgiving? On Friday, November 25, from 8:00 PM until 12:00 AM, join your Ridgecroft friends in the Revelle Gymtorium for a night of dancing to the music of the Pizazz Band, with hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $25 per person and available from Athletic Association members or in the front office.

The girls will learn cheers that they will perform at one or two games during basketball season. The $30 registration fee includes lunch and a t-shirt. Registration forms were sent home this week and are also available in the front office.
PTO Greenery Sale
Fresh, Fragrant, and Festive!
The Ridgecroft PTO is selling fresh holiday greenery straight from the North Carolina mountains! All proceeds from the sale of these beautiful wreaths, garland, and swags will support the many enrichment opportunities that the PTO provides for students and staff. Check your student's folder for order forms or pick one up in the front office. All orders are due by November 17 and payment is due at the time of the order. The greenery will be delivered on December 9, the day of the Faculty Bazaar.

Easy Ways to Support Ridgecroft
Give with a Smile
Ridgecroft receives a percentage of all purchases made through AmazonSmile. You shop. Amazon gives. What could be simpler? Click the image above to begin shopping.
Dress for Success
When you buy Ridgecroft logo apparel at Lands' End, not only will you display your Ram pride in style,  but Lands' End will also donate a percentage of each sale to Ridgecroft!  Click the image above to enter the Ridgecroft Lands' End store.
Clipping Cash!
Each of those little pink squares may be worth only 10 cents, but they add up quickly. During the 2015-16 school year, Ridgecroft earned more than $1000 from Box Tops for Education! The PTO used that money to provide teachers with classroom equipment like LCD projectors, file cabinets, and much more. So, keep clipping!
Turn your Groceries into Greenbacks!
You can help Ridgecroft just by doing your usual grocery shopping. Buy Food Lion gift cards from Joannah Lassiter in the business office and Ridgecroft will receive 5% of your total purchase.
