DR Camp & Village Undamaged
Friday morning 09/22 report from Padre Canela
This morning we received this happy message from Padre Ramón Canela, the priest in charge of the Dominican Episcopal camp and conference center in the village of El Pedregal where our Dominican Republic mission team works each year:

Buenos días, querido Julius, tanto en el Campamento como en Pedregal está todo bien gracias a Dios. Bendiciones!

Good morning, dear Julius, both in the Camp and in Pedregal, everything is fine, thank God. Blessings!

Hurricane Maria has caused serious flooding in many communities in the Dominican Republic, but we give thanks that the village of El Pedregal and the Episcopal camp, church and school have not experienced flooding or other damage from either Maria or the earlier hurricane, Irma.
