President's Message
Dear Friends,
The Thanksgiving holidays are around the corner and I am feeling extremely thankful that I belong to the Greater Dallas Chapter AFP. The professional development, networking opportunities and friends I've made are so valuable in my career and personal life.
Every November our chapter holds our
National Philanthropy Day luncheon, an inspiring event that allows us to honor leading members of our philanthropic community. This year's celebration takes place at the Hyatt Regency on November 18th starting at 11:30 am.
Click here to register today, I look forward to seeing you there.
We will end the year with our chapter's
Holiday Lunch Program and celebration. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 13th at Arlington Hall. This is a very popular program so
make your reservations early and join in the fun. Don't miss the holiday fun and the opportunity to hear Jennifer Sampson, President and CEO of United Way Dallas.
Let's all enjoy the holiday season to the fullest, celebrating our community's philanthropists making a difference in our daily lives at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon, and topping off the year with our holiday luncheon.
Look forward to seeing you soon,
Judy Wright, President
Greater Dallas Chapter AFP

AFP Now! We're in the Home Stretch

You might win this Zuca travel bag when you donate to the 2016 AFP Now! campaign

Isn't it a good, warm feeling when you know you're helping someone else? We do that all the time in our careers, working with our donors who have it in their hearts to support causes. How cool is it when
we are the donors helping others?
AFP Now!, our chapter's philanthropic program, enables us to provide funding for our own colleagues to attend classes and conferences. In addition, our outreach program with Paul Quinn College supports students who are pursuing college degrees in Fundraising. We actually were able to "put faces to it" as three Paul Quinn College students attended the September 28th AFP Greater Dallas luncheon meeting, soaking in the wisdom of speaker Laura Fredericks. Heart warming! And possible because of your generosity!
As we head into the last weeks of the year, and the Home Stretch for our chapter's annual
AFP Now! goals, please consider making a donation.
We only need 25 more gifts to make our member participation goal of 20%, and just over $2,500 more in donations to reach our funding goal of $10,000. Together, we can do this!
Make your tax exempt donation or send an additional gift online today, download an AFP Now! pledge form to support your chapter's educational outreach, or contact Anne Robillard, anne@mgaleassociates.com, to make a pledge.
