Helping to enhance access control systems and provide additional perimeter security, the EAX-411SK AC powered door prop alarm provides a custom fit for each opening with its 0 to 60 second adjustable "door open" time. When a door is left open longer than the set time, the alarm will set. The EAX-411SK will automatically reset when the door is closed.

Door open times from 1 second to 4 minutes (15 second default) are field selectable. The smaller size of the EAX-300 makes installation quick and easy. Cylinder Nut Socket now on sale

Make installing Mortise cylinders on Detex Exit Alarms easier with the Cylinder Nut Socket. Screwing the Cylinder Nut on the back of the Mortise cylinder with a screwdriver alone can damage the switches and the other sensitive parts in your Exit Alarm, but when the Cylinder Nut Socket is used, it drastically reduces chances that the switches will be damaged, and will help ensure proper tightening of the Mortise Cylinder.

Tech Tip
Changing Door Prop Times

Note: The device first needs to be handed  according to installation instruction, then proceed with the following steps. (EAX-300 shown)

Step 1: Remove battery.

Step 2: With both micro switches closed, reconnect the battery. The flashing of the LEDs will indicate the current selection of door prop time (see Table B).

Step 3: Release both switches. The switch on the left (OKC switch) changes the programming. Pushing this switch will change the setting incrementally according to Table B. Once the desired time is selected, wait 15 seconds for the unit to flash the selection three times. The timing has successfully been changed upon hearing the siren chip four times. The new timing is retained in memory even with battery removal.
