Transgender Day of Remembrance
Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia, and to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.
The Greater Cincinnati Transgender Day of Remembrance is Sunday November 20th from 2-6pm. The event will be held at  Northern Kentucky University's Student Union building.  
 
Transportation will be provided for those in need.  
 
  The 2016 program will be broken into four parts. 
 
1- Interfaith Ceremony. 2:15-3:15 
2- Light refreshments 3:00 - 3:30  
3. Main Ceremony (reading of the names / speakers) 3:30-4:30
4. Reception banquet 4:30-6:00 (includes workshops on grieving)

Tri-State Leather/Rubber Pup Weekend
 
The Tri-State Leather/Rubber/Pup contest will be held at The Contemporary Arts Center in downtown Cincinnati, 2 blocks from the host hotel, the Millennium. 

The annual OINK dance follows immediately after the contest. The contest will begin at 8pm and the dance will begin at 11pm.


KINK U will be conducting classes on Saturday afternoon from 11am-4pm at On Broadway Bar (817 Broadway Street - Downtown)

Gay Movie Night
Join ISQCCBE Empress XXV, Molly Mormen  and Emperor XXV Scot Fromeyer as they host the first Gay Movie Nights at Tillies Lounge. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 7:00 p.m. There will be a $5.00 admission at the door. Raffles, popcorn and soda will be available. Proceeds go to OutReels Cincinnati. Tell your friends, family and co-workers and join Molly and the ISQCCBE for a great night at the Movies!
 
This month's feature is "Latter Days".  Latter Days is a 2003 American romantic comedy-drama about the relationship between a closeted Mormon missionary and his openly gay neighbor.

Planning for LGBTQ Individuals  
Chamber Members and friends are invited to attend a free estate planning seminar designed to educated the LGBTQ community as to how single people, married couples and unmarried couples can protect themselves and their families.  There are even many simple steps you can take for free to protect your assets. Bring your questions and get answers!

 
Exclusive Holiday Shopping Event 
Our friends at Toys R Us invite you to an exclusive holiday VIP Shopping Party for the LGBTQ Community of Cincinnati.  This one hour event will be held on Sunday, November 20th from 830 to 930pm. The store will be open specifically at this time for our community with snacks, activities, and free Raffles. Also reward members would be able to get a jump on some early Black Friday
sales!
Dress up in your best Gay Apparel

LOVEboldly welcomes you to join us in our Family Christmas Photo Shoot and Bazaar! This event will be held on two separate occasions - November 6th and 11th. These fun filled nights will include acoustic Christmas music by local artists, a chance to purchase your holiday home decor (wreaths, garland, centerpieces), a holiday cookie-decorating contest, and the chance to have your family photo made for your Christmas cards! We lovingly welcome all family types and will have a backdrop, props, and digital edits of your photo provided for a donation size of your choosing.

Come out and support the work of LOVEboldly,   a local nonprofit that empowers Christians, LGBT+ and same-sex attracted individuals to step towards loving one another boldly. Photoshoots offered for LGBT+ friends and families and straight families too (plus pets! - Covington location only) on a donation basis along with plenty of holiday fun!

Toyland Show - Friday November 11th 8pm - The Cabaret (OTR)
Join ISQCCBE Emperor 12, Sam Clemons and Empress 12 & 21, Ginger Snap-Clemons and reigning Empress 25 Molly Mormen and Emperor XXV Scot Fromeyer as they host the Annual Toyland Show benefiting AVNK (AIDS Volunteers of N. Ky.) The Doors at The Cabaret will open at 7:00 p.m. and the Show will begin at 8:00 p.m. Along with your dollars, bring a toy and drop it in our Toy Box to be delivered to the children.
 
Teddy Bear Kick-Off - Saturday November 12th 10pm - On Broadway Bar (Downtown)
ISQCCBE Reign XXV is so excited to be teaming up with On Broadway Bar & Nightclub and helping with their Annual Teddy Bear Drive benefiting Camp Washington, United Church of Christ. Your hosts for the evening, Empress 22, Freeda Bangkok and Empress 23, Brett Alan (Petty Cash) will have a great night of entertainment as the ISQCCBE raises money for this great Church and the Community they serve. Come join and help these children have a wonderful holiday. Bring your teddy bear, too! These bears are given out to the Children's Hospital and other local organizations. All teddy bears for donation need to be new (with tags). Come early and enjoy the evening. The show will begin at 10:00 p.m.

Cocktails for a Cause

Join Brooklyn Steele-Tate and the members of the ISQCCBE for an early evening cocktail at Tillies Lounge. This event will  benefit Heartland Trans Wellness as well as a toiletry drive benefiting Caracole, Inc. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. All tips from 6-8 p.m. are donated to the charity getting the proceeds from this event. There will also be raffle prizes given away. Bring your friends, neighbors, co-workers and family to this early evening event.

Miss Leftovers Pageant 

Have you ever wondered what to do with all those leftover ThankSgiving desserts? The ISQCCBE will give away a Crown! That's right. It's the Annual Miss Leftovers Pageant at C & D Northside hosted by Emperor 21 Edward St. James. Lucky Ed and his judges get to taste these wonderful leftover goodies that our contestants present to them. Whoever has the best recipe, wins the crown! Sounds delicious and fun, right? Well come join the members of the ISQCCBE and join in on all of the fun. The pageant is on Saturday, November 26th at 10:00 p.m. and I'm sure C&D will have plenty of beverages available for you to wash down these delicious treats if you wish you try it! Come out and help the Court raise some money for Caracole, Inc.
Annual Wreath Auction and Brunch  

The ISQCCBE is once again hosting the Annual Wreath Auction and Brunch on Sunday, November 27th at Tillie's Lounge (Northside) from 11am-2pm. Brunch will be $5.00 per person. The event will be hosted by Emperor 21 Edward St. James and proceeds from the wreath auction will go to Caracole, Inc. There is a prize for the BEST Wreath. There are some beautiful wreaths each year and everyone on your holiday list could use a wreath, right? So, join the ISQCCBE for some delicious food and cocktails and mark off that one last gift you needed by purchasing a wreath.
 
PFLAG Cincinnati - Meetings  

PFLAG Cincinnati now hosts two meetings each month in two locations.
 
Second Tuesday monthly meetings start with a social period at 7:00 pm with the meeting from 7:30 to 9:30. They are held at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 Wm. Howard Taft, Cincinnati 45219 . After announcements, introductions and the program, we break into small groups and share our stories.

Third Wednesday meetings are held from 7 to 9 pm at Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church, 6474 Beechmont Ave, Cincinnati 45230. We start with small groups followed by the program.     
 
PFLAG is the organization for parents, families, allies and LGBTQ people united for equality ---

Join ISQCCBE Emperor XXV, Scot Fromeyer and Empress XXV, Molly Mormen for the first annual Red Tie/Red Dress Affair in honor of World AIDS Day. The event will be from 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m at The Belvedere (3900 Rose Hilll Ave, Cincinnati 45229).  There will be dinner, music, raffles and a show. Tickets are $30.00 each and all proceeds will benefit Caracole, Inc.
 
Caracole Holiday Tree Sale - Findlay Market - Weekends til Xmas
Buy that Christmas tree, wreath, or roping - or volunteer your time to help us sell!  This is one of Caracole's favorite fundraisers of the year!
 
Each December, Caracole has a Christmas Tree fundraiser at Findlay Market. We sell Fraser Firs, Scotch Pines, ropes of garland and wreaths! During this event, we have tons of volunteers prune, package, and help sell trees where all the proceeds benefit Caracole! 

Stop by the market house and purchase a tree (it benefits Caracole!) on one of the dates below OR volunteer with family and friends! (Santa Hats provided.) Email if you're interested in volunteering!

Caracole is the HIV/AIDS service organization in Cincinnati. Our mission is to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS in our community through housing, care, and prevention. We currently serve more than 1500 clients in the eight counties of southwest Ohio.

Sunday, January 22nd from 6-9pm. The preshow starts at 6p.m. and you can paint a drag queen on stage with the wheel of misfortune before she calls her final number as the first Kamikaze Queen. Designer Jell-O shots. Raffles and laughs for all!

ISQCCBE Happenings
The Imperial Sovereign Queen City Court of the Buckeye Empire, Inc. (The Court) is a local, Cincinnati-based 501-(c)(3) incorporated non-profit organization. The Court's purpose is to raise fund for contribution to and in support of any and all charitable [minimum 501 (c)(3)] causes. The Court represents the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, allied communities, and all concerned in support of community functions.
 
Resource for LGBTQ Youth

  
GLSEN Greater Cincinnati hosts a weekly Youth Group meeting.  The GLSEN Youth Group is a safe and welcoming space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and their allies to gather. Each week the group explores a topic of interest to middle and high school-aged youth with an emphasis on LGBTQ issues. Youth group also includes weekly social time and a quarterly social outing or activity. GLSEN Youth Group relies on a series of youth generated ground rules to keep our space supportive and positive. We participate in days of action sponsored by GLSEN national and provide opportunities and resources for group members to organize actions in their school community, such as Day of Silence and Ally Week. - Click here for more details.
