Hello Dubuque Area Tri-States!  I am thrilled to introduce myself to you as I have recently joined the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States as the President/CEO.  

I was fortunate to have worked in our community for the past 20 years as a Regional Director at another local, non-profit organization that housed numerous programs to help support children and families. I am excited to continue that mission by helping lead a strong team of staff, board members and volunteers who are dedicated to the organization's mission of connecting people and resources to advance the health, education and income of those in need in our community. 

 

I will give you a few comments about what we have been up to here just to pique your interest in United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States, but I encourage you to go find out more - Give.  Advocate.  Volunteer.  

Here are a few ideas to get you started: 

• Like our Facebook page to see updates and events.
• Ask your employer about running a United Way Campaign.
• Research if your employer has an employee volunteer program.
• Register on Get Connected, so you can volunteer in an area that could benefit from your skills and passion.
• Watch the Priah video to learn more about what United Way does in our community.
• Participate in community wide events that benefit our community members such as the United Way Help Our Homeless Drive.
• Learn about 2-1-1 Information and Referral support that is available in our communities or any of the more than 25 funded partner programs your gifts support.
