DanielleMeet Danielle!
Hello Dubuque Area Tri-States!  I am thrilled to introduce myself to you as I have recently joined the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States as the President/CEO.

I was fortunate to have worked in our community for the past 20 years as a Regional Director at another local, non-profit organization that housed numerous programs to help support children and families. I am excited to continue that mission by helping lead a strong team of staff, board members and volunteers who are dedicated to the organization's mission of connecting people and resources to advance the health, education and income of those in need in our community.

I will give you a few comments about what we have been up to here just to pique your interest in United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States, but I encourage you to go find out more - Give.  Advocate.  Volunteer.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Thanks for welcoming me into this role.  I welcome the challenge and look forward to working in partnership with others to strengthen our community.

Reviewers will receive training in January and review grant applications during the January/March timeframe. For more information, visit the United Way website!

INFONEED ASSISTANCE AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO?
FosterGrandparentsFOSTER GRANDPARENTS ARE COMING BACK!

In partnership with United Ways of Iowa and Operation: New View in Dubuque, the Foster Grandparent Program will be reinstated in Dubuque, Jackson and Delaware Counties.

This unique program brings together needy children and limited-income, loving retired adults, all of whom are enriched by new relationships.

Your gifts to United Way provided $13,567 as local match in order for United Ways of Iowa to secure funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service to support foster grandparent programs across the state. The yearly stipends Iowa seniors receive total about $750,000, including more than $100,000 locally.
