We hope you all have had a restful summer here in Hong Kong or abroad if you were traveling.
The New Year is almost upon us again, which gives us a chance to reflect on our past year, the contribution we have made and what the New Year will bring for us all. The JWA celebrated 70 years last year with an elegant Gala evening, filled with memorable moments and reflections on the past, with an eye towards the future.
In that direction, the JWA has voted in a new Board this week at the Annual General Meeting, and we are thrilled to add 4 new talented, intelligent, dynamic women to our Board: Ilissa Howard, Maayan Schwartz, Neomi Ronen and Dana Meital. Welcome to you all!
We are also thrilled to unveil the new, revamped JWA website, www.jwa.org.hk just in time for Rosh Hashannah. Special thanks to new Board member Ilissa Howard and Sharon Cooper for making it happen.

This past July, the JWA members and supporters made many meaningful visits to our Beneficiaries in Israel. We are always amazed and inspired to connect with our Beneficiaries, and those who benefit from your donations. Meeting those women and children who we actually help through your donations touches our hearts and makes us more determined to come back to Hong Kong and continue our fundraising efforts every year.
It is truly life changing to see first-hand how the efforts of the JWA and our community in Hong Kong impacts the lives of so many. We will post details of each Beneficary and details of the summer visits in upcoming newsletters with dedicated articles, so for now, enjoy a glimpse of the visits below. We truly appreciate the support of members of the community who joined us on some of these visits.
