This Sunday begins a year-long commemoration of the 500th Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation.  Luther's Seal is the most used and recognizable emblem of Lutheran churches around the world.  Sunday, you will receive a Reformation bookmark to use in your Bible as a daily reminder of this important year.  When Luther nailed the Ninety-five Theses to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517, he began a reformation that changed all of Christendom. 
Door Offering for Flood Victims

Approximately 100,000 homes and businesses in the Carolinas were flooded because of Hurricane Matthew.  The Southeastern LCMS District is mobilizing individuals and churches to help in the clean up. 

Not Sure What You're Doing this Thanksgiving?
The Hallen's will be hosting a Second Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Messiah.  Wednesday, Nov. 23rd, 4:30 - 6:30.  Sign-ups will be available in the lobby on Nov. 6th.  Gently used blankets will be collected for Final Harvest Ministry.

Good News in the Making

Messiah's Call Committee will be bringing in three pastors to interview onsite. We are working diligently to bring Jeffrey Alexander, Dan Flynn and Steve Patton in to visit with us before Christmas. Please pray that dates, schedules and flights coordinate to the Glory of God.
