**A Note from Ms. Davidson**
Dear Schultz families,

Our school is a member of Artsonia.com, an online student art museum. Artsonia manages student art galleries in a safe and educational manner. It is a great way to support and view your young artist's creations while developing their pride and self esteem. All friends and relatives can participate but we need your permission to include your child's artwork on our school's web gallery on Artsonia. If you already granted permission last year then you are all set and need not do anything but enjoy! If you are new or did not sign up with Artsonia last year then you will be getting a NEW permission slip sent home with your child including all the steps for signing up on line. I look forward to another great year with your budding artist(s)!
See you online!

Ms. Davidson

Welcome back to school!
As we begin our school year, your school nurses are working hard to keep everyone's kiddos healthy.  Part of this is to ensure that all of the students' immunizations are up-to-date according to the Ohio Department of Health requirements.
Elementary students should be fully immunized for their Kindergarten year, not requiring any additional until 7 th grade.
What is "herd immunity"?
When a critical portion of a community is immunized against a contagious disease, most members of the community are protected against that disease because there is little opportunity for an outbreak. Even those who are not eligible for certain vaccines-such as infants, pregnant women, or immunocompromised individuals-get some protection because the spread of contagious disease is contained.
Ohio Revised Code requires immunization records be submitted within 14 days of school beginning. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school nurse.
