Official School News and Updates
Homecoming Week a Success!

We came to the end of a very full and lively Homecoming Spirit Week, with Academic Field Day, a Pep Rally, Tailgate Party, Homecoming Game, and Homecoming Dance, thanks to the numerous volunteers who sacrificed their time and talent to make this an exciting and satisfying week for the whole community.

Special thanks go to our PSO volunteers, particularly Mrs. Bridget Peacock, whose impressive vision, energy, experience, and talent shaped and made possible much of the week's festivities. Thanks also to Mrs. Pitcl, Mrs. O'Connor, and all the PSO team.

Thank you to the tireless efforts of House leaders and to all the student volunteers, especially those who stepped up to lead committees, and to those mentors who helped out with the thousand tasks at hand. Thanks also to our student-led band Blu Wail, who played a great show at the Homecoming Dance.

From the faculty, Mrs. Madigan worked diligently along with Mrs. Peacock to coordinate Spirit Week events. Mr. MacIsaac stepped in this year to coordinate the Homecoming Dance, working with Mrs. Bruns and Miss Monroe. Mrs. Rathsburg and the VPA Chorale gave a phenomenal performance, opening with the national anthem, and founding headmaster Andrew Ellison stepped up as emcee to open the game. Thanks also to Athletic Director Mr. Dall, Mrs. Clemmer and the front office team, Mr. Sifert, Mr. Austin, and Mr. Dean, and all faculty who participated in this week of celebrating our shared home!
There are too many generous souls to number here; thanks to everyone who made this a great time for our community.

Also, please note that, from Fall Break to Spring Break, shorts are not a part of the high school uniform. Middle school students, however, may wear shorts through the year if so desired.
