See all SASS workshops along with their dates and times here.

SASS also offers a variety of other academic support services such as 1:1 writing and learning strategy appointments!
Peer Academic Support Service (PASS)

Do you know about Peer Academic Support Service ? PASS is a volunteer service that is run through the Faculty of Arts and Science to assist first-year students. Peer Advisors address common questions and concerns (scheduling, plan requirements, SOLUS, and selecting courses) during confidential advising sessions. PASS is located in our office in Dunning Hall and is available from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on weekdays. Feel free to drop in to see a Peer Advisor!
Home for the Holidays Contest (for International Students)

Are you an international student who would like to travel home for the winter holidays? If so, you can enter the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE)'s Home for the Holidays contest for a chance to win a round trip ticket home! The competition closes on October 2.

Open Enrolment

Second Winter Section of CISC 124

The School of Computing has been able to open a second section of CISC
124 in the Winter Term, at the same time as the full first section. If you were unable to get on the waiting list for Section 1, you can now enrol in Section 2.

Waiting Lists

All single-term Arts and Science classes have wait lists. Multi-term, full year (A/B) courses cannot be set up with wait lists. The wait list option gives you an opportunity to join a wait list for a class that is full.

A note about using the EDIT function in SOLUS: if you are enrolled in a class but want to change your lab or tutorial and the one you want is full, you can use EDIT to go on the waitlist. BUT.... If you do that, you will lose your existing registration in the class ! If the lab or tutorial you want is full and there is a wait list, SOLUS will drop you from the class and add you to the wait list for both the lecture and the lab/tutorial. Before choosing to EDIT or SWAP, it is a good idea to make sure that the lectures, labs or tutorials are open.

Thinking about Unsubscribing?
