In the first of
tonight's double edition of
Lehigh Valley Arts Salon, t
he topic is homebrewed craft beer. More specifically, discussion will center on the "Crustless PB&J on Wheat," the witbier which was selected as the winning brew at WDIY's 2nd Annual Homebrew Fest in July. Host Bill Dautremont-Smith will be talking with the winning homebrewer John Litak and owner/brewmaster Sam Masotto of Bonn Place brewpub, where the winning brew has just been produced on a commercial scale.
They will discuss the process of brewing this rather different beer, why it was selected as this year's winner, where you can taste it, and more. The witbier from the scaled-up brewing at Bonn Place is now available, and we'll compare it to the original winning homebrew.
Then, it's the rescheduled preview of Celtic Classic 2017. Hosts George Miller and Kate Scuffle talk with Marcie Mulligan, the Cultural Outreach Coordinator for the Celtic Cultural Alliance about what's in store for this year's Festival and Highland Games in Bethlehem.
The theme for this program is "Folk Classics By The Numbers." The program will begin with a soloist, and work itself through duets, trios, quartets, and beyond!
