Our Nursing Assistant program this past school year had the opportunity to partner with some incredible Assisted Living facilities. The new Assisted Living facilities offered exceptional opportunities for the students. Such opportunities were available, but not limited to being in the dining areas, visiting residents, and assisting residents in their living area. Students also participated in designing, coordinating, and participating in various activities with the senior residents. Students were able to experience the life of senior living, just like in the Assisted Living setting.
