-All docks to be constructed of aluminum frames (preferably 2'x6' tube frame rather than truss frame construction)
-All floats to be Ace roto-mold floats, or equivalent (constructed of linear polyethylene resin with UV ray inhibitors and carbon black pigment, and injected with high quality, low water absorption, steamed polystyrene or polyurethane foam)

-Decking material to be western red cedar, composite decking or reinforced polypropylene grating (ex. SunWalk, ThruFlow)

-Auger posts are required to hold floating dock in alignment perpendicular to shore

-Small wheel kits are recommended to move the dock in and out as the water rises each spring.
