2016 - 2017 Student Directories are HERE!...
The student directory is available and pre-orders were delivered. If you would like to purchase a directory which contains listings of all TEMS staff and students, including useful school information and links, you can buy it at the TEMS School Store ($10 for 1 directory and $15 for 2 directories). For questions on orders, contact Claudette McCarron (mccarronlondon@yahoo.com). It takes a village to put the directory of over 1000+ students together. Special thanks to: Claudette McCarron for the new and improved design/layout and fulfilling orders; Georgann Bernabeo for garnering advertising sales; TEMS secretaries, Lea Craley and Susan Denisevicz; plus Kelly Walker, Jane Martin, Mark McCarron, and Jen Marsala for their contributions. Thank you to parents for buying a directory and helping the PTO raise money which benefits TEMS and students.

Parent/Teacher/Counselor Meetings-
The Parent/Teacher/Counselor meetings are brief, informal meet and greet gatherings to share information about grade level news, activities, and curriculum.
PTC Meetings will be held 7:15am-7:45am on the dates below.
Grade 7 on 10/27 at 7:15am in LGR 12
Grade 8 on 10/26 at 7:15am in LGR 12
These are not to be confused with the one-on-one Parent Teacher Conferences that are held in November. Information on scheduling conferences will be mailed home later in October.
Halloween Costume Guidelines-
Students at TEMS have the choice to wear a costume or not for our Halloween Dress-up day on Friday, October 28
th
. Dressing up is not encouraged or discouraged by anyone at TEMS. Some of our students have fun with it, while others do not wish to be bothered. We leave the choice up to individual students and their families.
If a student decides to dress-up, there are a few parameters that we have. They are:
-No weapons or imitation weapons of any kind.
-No masks or face paint that make the student unrecognizable.
-Costumes should be appropriate for the ages of all students in our building, grades 5-8. They should not be gory, frightening, suggestive, revealing, inappropriate, controversial, offensive, or disparaging to any individual or group.
In light of recent events throughout the nation, costumes of a clown-like figure will not be permitted for our Halloween/Dress-up day activities this year.
In addition, please use care when selecting a costume which may be perceived as trivializing or promoting negative stereotypes on the basis of color, creed, religion, disability, national origin, or race.
We thank parents for your assistance in following these guidelines and ensuring our students enjoy the activities.
Grade 5/6 Mixer
is Friday, October 28th!-
Wear your costumes to school that day and then to the mixer! Costume rules apply to the mixer as well.
Masks may be worn at the 5/6 Mixer ONLY.
There will be food, games, prizes, a movie, limbo contest, costume contest and dance contest. Tickets cost $5 each and a donation of a toiletry (no travel size please). The toiletry will be donated to T&E Cares.
Tickets will be on sale Monday, October 24 through Friday, October 28 in the mornings outside the auditorium and during 5/6 grade lunches.
