Prayer
"The Christian family is the first place of education in prayer. Based on the sacrament of marriage, the family is the "domestic church" where God's children learn to pray "as the Church" and to persevere in prayer. For young children in particular, daily family prayer is the first witness of the Church's living memory as awakened patiently by the Holy Spirit." (CCC 2685)
Did you know?
Every school in the Archdiocese is mandated to use Standardized Grading. Every in-service last year was in preparation for its implementation. All area public schools use this system and high schools know how to interpret the grading.
Filmed on location in the Holy Land, this bible study will place you in the midst of the powerful drama of Mary's earthly life. You will learn how she works in our lives today, drawing us ever closer to her Divine Son. Seeing Mary in this way will change you forever. Choose a session:
Wednesday Evenings, 7-8:30pm (SAH)
Sept: 27; Oct: 4, 11, 18, 25; Nov: 8, 15, 29

From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
After this glorious weekend (weather-wise) it certainly felt like summer was back! We could not have asked for a more perfect day on Friday for our Hot Summer Slice Golf Outing!! I would be remiss if I didn't send a HUGE thank you to Andrea Wojcinski and her AMAZING team for planning a fabulous event! The number of hours the team put in is staggering and a true gift to all of us! Further, thanks to all of our parents and staff for attending! The numbers aren't in yet but I was extremely pleased with the turnout and the "Great Gatsby" Spirit that prevailed throughout the evening! An evaluation meeting will soon take place, so if you have any suggestions to make our event even greater, please let me know!

School Employment Opportunity
St. Anthony on the Lake School is seeking an individual to work the Extended Day Care program on Friday afternoons from 2:15-6:00pm effective immediately. This is a paid position. Flexibility for subbing on other days would be ideal, but not required. Call the office if interested: 262-691-0460.
ALWAYS check the label on the package to make sure it is free of peanuts and all nuts. This list is only to serve as a resource. It is in no way complete and is subject to manufacturer recalls and mislabeling. Manufacturers may have changed their equipment or product line and method since you last purchased an item from this sheet. READING LABELS: Some manufacturers clearly state if a product has peanut or nuts in it while others, it is almost hidden. PLEASE READ THE LABELS, each time you purchase. Do not purchase items with the allergy and ingredient alert such as: "May Contain Peanut or Tree Nuts" "Processed on shared equipment with Peanuts or Tree Nuts" "Manufactured in a plant with Peanut or Tree Nuts" "Contains Peanut or Tree Nut Ingredients" Thank you for taking the time to read the labels and discussing the topic of "safe snacks" with your child! Your diligence is keeping an allergic child safe at school.
