In a few weeks, the 22nd Conference of the Parties to the UN's Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place in Marrakesh. This is the first meeting since last year's landmark Paris Agreement, in which countries agreed to make efforts to limit global warming to less than 2°C above pre-industrial levels.
Why? Because climate change is already affecting our planet. Significant environmental, economic and social consequences are becoming more and more severe as global temperatures increase.
