On Saturday, the $1 million Hult Prize for social entrepreneurship -- widely known as the Nobel Prize for students -- went to "Roshni Rides," a team comprised of current and former RU business school students, who capped off 11 months of entrepreneurial effort with a polished, convincing pitch about the ability of its rickshaw transportation business to improve the lives of refugees overseas.
The team beat more than 50,000 participants from 100 countries -- Harvard was runner-up. More here.
