The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report Thursday < 9/14/17> that predicts Trump administration policies on Obamacare could help it on its way by leading to rising premiums and decreased enrollment in individual insurance markets over the next year. 
Dangers linger as FL recovery picks up momentum

Nearly a week after Hurricane Irma walloped Florida, the recovery mission picked up momentum as more people had electricity and schools made plans to reopen.

Dangers linger especially in the form of noxious fumes from generators. At least 36 people have died in the U.S. in Irma-related incidents. Most U.S. fatalities occurred in Florida. Elderly residents are most vulnerable in the post-storm environment. Eight people died at the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills. These deaths are believed to be heat-related. Governor Rick Scott has directed AHCA to terminate that facility's Medicaid provider status. 1.9 million homes and businesses were without power including 64 nursing homes.
What it's like to be on call during a hurricane

I was one of two on-call attendings the weekend of August 26-27, 2017. The same weekend the worst hurricane to make landfall in the past decade two-stepped its way to the doorsteps of Southeast Texas, the Texas Medical Center, and specifically where I work: TIRR Memorial Hermann <an inpatient rehabilitation hospital>.
