ChicagoMade Music Collective: How to Create Space for Collaboration

Swank Public Relations and WeeGone Records will lead a conversation on ways to close the collaboration gap in Chicago and the importance of building and maintaining new business relationships and mentorship for emerging artists. Panelists include Briahna Gatlin (CEO & founder of Swank PR), Lenny Hooks (co-owner of The Stu Studios), Shorty Capone (CEO of Beat Bangers) and Vic Lloyd (co-founder of Fat Tiger Workshop).

2018 Individual Artists Program

Application Opens October 23, 2017

DCASE is pleased to announce the timeline for the 2018 Individual Artists Program (IAP) grants. The Individual Artists Program (IAP) aims to assist Chicago's professional artists in creating work that elevates their careers and brings value to the City of Chicago. The application will open and guidelines will become available on October 23, 2017. The application deadline is December 1, 2017 at 5pm CST. All applicants that did not attend an Application Assistance Workshop in 2015 or 2016 are required to attend a workshop this year in order to apply for a grant.
