Family Weekend and Homecoming 2017

Highlights of the weekend include the pregame tailgate - family friendly and fun for everyone, Bronco football vs. Akron, and Sunday brunch in the Valley Dining Center.

When should I plan to arrive? 
Your arrival in Kalamazoo depends on your interests. Events taking place on Friday evening include a theatrical production by the WMU Theatre department, Bronco Hockey, and the  Distinguished Alumni reception.

How do I order tickets?
You can order event tickets through the Bronco ticket office with the promotion code, FAMILY.

Does my WMU student need a ticket to the pre-game tailgate?   
Yes. All tailgate attendees need to purchase a ticket.This is a "can't miss" event with an all-you-can-eat BBQ, live entertainment and fun activities for the whole family.

Can I sit with my WMU student at the football game? 
Yes. WMU students get into the game for free by showing their Bronco ID cards. Family and friends can purchase football tickets at a discounted rate of $15 and sit with your WMU student in the student section (which spans one entire side of the stadium).

Tell me about the Sunday Brunch.
Our annual Family Weekend Sunday Brunch will be in the Valley Dining Center. Live entertainment will be provided by students from the School of Music. Advance ticket purchase is available and WMU students with a valid meal plan or dining dollars can swipe their Bronco ID cards. Delicious food in a beautiful setting - what better way to enjoy time with your student?

Financial Aid Reminder

It's already time to plan ahead! The 2018-19 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is available beginning Oct. 1 with a priority deadline of March 1, 2018 for the state of Michigan.

New mailing addresses went into effect last month and it is important to use the correct address format  so your letters, cards, and packages get to your student as quickly as possible.
