Municipal Elections:
What's Next

Municipal elections may have concluded last week, but there's still more excitement coming.

Administrators should notify Government Relations of the results of your election, and update your listing in the Municipal Directory. (If you lost your username or password for the directory, call Government Relations at 306-787-2687.)

The Elected Officials Handbook is coming soon to SUMA members. We are mailing enough for each member of council and an extra for administration. These packages will also include a sheet to collect email addresses for council members so they can stay up to date with SUMA. A digital copy of the handbook will be made available on our website soon.

Some members of the SUMA Board did not seek re-election in their municipalities, and some were not re-elected. All of those vacancies will be filled in accordance with our bylaws as we move through the full election process

Thank you to all our departing Board members for their time and dedication in serving SUMA:
  • Debra Button
  • Malcolm Eaton
  • Barry Gunther
  • Lee Atkinson
  • Ben Buhler
  • Wade Murray

  • Ron Osika
  • Tiffany Paulsen
