On Saturday, November 8th the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones membership will gather at beautiful Greenway Farms to review 2014 and prepare for another great year in 2015. Morning snacks, beverages, and lunch will be provided. This is our one best opportunity to join together and collectively provide input into the future of our chapter. The meeting will end with another fabulous plant swap and a nature walk with ecologist John Evans. More details are below.

1:00-2:00pm - Guided Nature Walk with John Evans
Our gathering will end with a one-hour guided nature walk with botanist and ecologist John Evans. During his walk John will discuss the ecology of invasive plant species, identify the most damaging offenders, and show how best to manage them.
John Evans
John's work includes research on plant community responses to climate change and the ecology of invasive plant species at Oak Ridge National Environmental Research Park. Most recently he conducted an inventory of the vascular plants of the Sequatchie Valley, TN.
