Dear Friends of Our Lady of Prompt Succor,
The month of November begins with the Feast of All Saints, reminding us that all of us are called to holiness and that those who have gone before us have shown us the way. I love to recall the great variety of people I have known over the years and to imagine them now “in glory” and filled with joy and peace. How amazing that there are so many paths to holiness!
When you can, you may want to take some moments to enjoy your memories of those who have played an important role in your life and to let the gift of their lives inspire and uplift your spirits once again. Each person is called to reveal the face of God to us in some way. May our celebration of All Saints help us to accept the challenge of seeing the face of God in all the people who are part of our lives today.
May our Blessed Mother, the Queen of all the saints, assist each of us in our efforts to be faithful to our call to reveal the face of God to others.
