Good Morning,

Sorry about missing last week's Attitude.  Seems like Hurricane Irma got in the way as we lost power and internet access.

As we were preparing for the hurricane, it seems like all we heard on TV was what if this happens and what if that happens over and over again.  There seemed to be a lot of doom and gloom predictions.  Everyone knew it was going to hit Florida but no one knew where it was going to hit.  It was truly a moving target.

Irma up going up the center of the state avoiding many of the highly populated areas.  It caused lots of damage and significant power outages yes but not as catastrophic as it might have been.

My point is: We can worry about everything, whether we will make the right decisions, say the right things, act in the right way, have the right spiritual beliefs, etc.  Most of our worries are about things that end up never happening or have no significant impact us or our families.

We need to do the best we can, plan ahead, think things through  be ourselves and then move on with life.  We should quit worrying.  Sure, we will be blind sided a few times.  So what.  We learn from those miscalculations and, again, move on.

If we will spend as much time preparing for and living life as we tend to spend worrying about it, imagine what can happen,  Life is too short to be spent worrying about everything that might happen.
