On Friday night, our 5-1 boys looked to rebound from the Mira Costa game as they hit the road to battle against the 3-3 Inglewood Sentinels.  With playoff aspirations on the line, both teams came ready to play.  In what turned out to be a defensive slug fest, our men struck first late in the third quarter when Marcello Merola scored on a 2 yard run by and then caps off his night by running in the 2-point try!  During the fourth quarter, the Sentinels looked to tie things up as they scored a touchdown, but in true Panther spirit we held the line, preventing Ingelwood from converting the 2 point conversion, thus securing the 8-6 victory!!!  With the win our Panthers move to 6-1, a record they look to add  to as they play Redondo Beach High School this Friday at Peninsula during our homecoming game.
