Don't forget, this week, October 31st through November 4th, is ICS Spirit Week. The themes for each day are as follows:
  • 10/31: Monster Monday-Dress up in your Halloween costume! 
  • 11/1: Time Travel Tuesday-Dress from different eras! 
  • 11/2: Wake Me Up Wednesday-PJ Day! 
  • 11/3: Twosome Thursday-Twin with a friend! 
  • 11/4: Fan Friday-Wear sports fan gear!
And Spirit Week end with an Ice Cream Floatcial on Friday, November 4th.  The cost is $1 for an ice cream float. 
Remember to stay informed with other school events on Instagram and Facebook at @icsasb. In addition, join the ICS LWSD Kirkland Facebook group for parents and students and get all (okay most) of your questions answered.
VOLUNTEERING
R unning Club Chair Needed
Do you enjoy running? How about getting to know some of the students at ICS at the same time? In the past, this group met once or twice a week after school for non-competitive running near ICS. This is an easy way to earn your volunteer hours while doing something fun! Please contact Kelly Pontiff for more information or to sign up. If more than one person is interested, this can be a shared chair position.

Site Clean-up coming first weekend of November
ICS site clean-up to take place on Saturday, November 5th from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

LAST CHANCE - Senior Class Poinsettia Sale 
This is the last week to purchase beautiful potted poinsettias to help offset the cost of graduation for the Class of 2017. These high-quality plants (6.5" pots) come in 3 colors (red, white, or pink) and cost only $16 each. To order, simply contact any senior class student or download the online order form here. Plant pickup is Wednesday, Dec 7th, 2016 at noon at ICS. If plants are purchased from a student, that student will deliver your plants on that day. All orders and payment must be submitted no later than Monday, October 31, 2016 at 2:05pm (this is an extended deadline). Email Leanne Cornel with any questions. Thank you for supporting our children!

Ski Bus Enrollment Form now posted
Hey parents! Ski Bus has all of the enrollment forms available form on the PTSA website. I am very excited for our Club to get started. Please read the Help Sheet to see where to mail your all of your forms. If you have any questions please contact Nicole Camp.

Reflections Program entries due Nov. 1
Reflections entries are due on Tuesday, November 1st. Please refer to this link for additional information.
The Reflections program, a national PTA and Washington State PTA Cultural Arts competition, provides students an opportunity to express their creativity in the following areas: Visual Arts Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production.
