Farewell to a Friend
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Elizabeth Wallner passed away on July 18, after a 6-year battle with cancer. A NAPE Unsung Hero, Elizabeth was a passionate advocate for equity and access for every student for almost two decades. The success of her recent work as a NAPE consultant with students at San Jose High School is a testament to her commitment to opening the hearts and minds of young people. She was a strong, warm, and fun person, and we will miss her.
