/ ADOBE ANNOUNCEMENT ADDS TO SAN JOSE'S MOMENTUM

#DTSJ

Adobe announced the proposed purchase of the property at 333 West San Fernando Street, in order to add a fourth high-rise tower to its Downtown San José headquarters campus. The new tower will accommodate an additional 3,000 employees. Adobe's current San José's workforce is about 2,500 workers. Adobe is the world's largest maker of graphic design programs.

In remarks in media interviews, Mayor Sam Liccardo gave credit to Adobe for being a pioneer in opting for a high-rise, urban campus over the prevailing Silicon Valley office park model. He also gave a vote of gratitude to Wolff Urban Development and JP Napoli Companies, for holding on to this and other parcels in the city when many other developers and investors had sold their properties during the downturn.

Adobe and Google are not alone in choosing San José - a recent Silicon Valley Business Journal article detailed the investment that the tech industry has been making in San Jos é
