Inland Empire SHRM will hold its 5th Annual HR Conference this year. The Future of the Workplace promises to be our best conference yet. Volunteers for Conference 

Inland Empire SHRM is looking for five (5) great volunteers to support our Annual Conference, The Future of the Workplace on October 19th.  We need volunteers that are sharp, energetic, organized and like to be in the middle of lots of activity.

Volunteers will help assemble materials for conference participants, greet attendees at the registration desk, help with set up and break down of the meeting rooms, provide assistance to speakers and sponsors. Participation in IE SHRM's pre-event volunteer training is required.

Legislative & Legal Update 
Legislature Takes a Recess-Human Resources CANNOT 

California's Legislature will soon be taking a recess.  There have been several votes on employment bills and many have cleared to go on for further vote.
Some of the bills are:
●      Prohibit employers from inquiring about salary history during the hiring process (AB 168);
●      Require larger employers to collect and publish information concerning gender pay differences for exempt employees (AB 1209);  Read More
