Meet the Players...



The present...

LPGA Tour Player's past, present, and future are coming together to help the WSCGA Junior Golf Foundation High School Girls Golf Clinic.  Leading the clinic will be South Carolina's own Kristy McPherson from Conway, SC.  McPherson, who now resides in Tampa, FL, is in her 10th year on the LPGA Tour.  A member of the 2009 Solheim Cup Team, a decorated USC Women's Golfer, and currently having over 2 million dollars in career earnings on the LPGA Tour.  


The future...

Kristy recruited her good friend, fellow tour player, and Oklahoma graduate Kendall Dye to join us.  Kendall played on the European Tour in 2012, Finished 8th on the Symetra Tour in 2014 to earn full status on the LPGA Tour in 2015. Kendall, who currently resided in Tampa, FL as well, is sitting 10th on this year Symetra Tour money list and last week shot a bogey free 64 in the final round of the 2017 Four Winds Invitational to take the Win. Congratulations Kendall!!

The past....

Lee Ann Walker Cooper made her LPGA Tour debut in 1995 after graduating from UNC - Wilmington.  Lee Ann played on the LPGA for 13 years with her best year in 2006 winning over $100,000.  Lee Ann currently reside in Southport, NC and is a Realtor at Southport Realty.

Fellow USC Gamecock Women's Golfer, Clarissa Childs, carded a Hole-in-One in the 1998 U.S. Women's Open Championship at Blackwolf Run in Kholer, WI.  The 14th Hole-in-One ever in U.S Women's Open History.  Clarissa got her LPGA Tour Card in 2002 and played on tour for 7 years with one of her sponsor being South Carolina's Hootie and the Blowfish. Clarissa currently resides in Columbia, SC and is the Executive Director for the WSCGA
.

Also joining the Clinic is SCGA's Chris Miller.  Senior Director of SCJGA:   Chris has been with the SCJGA since 2000 overseeing the top Junior Golf program in the United States. A PGA Professional since 1997, Chris has coached High School Golf and has been involved with junior programming since 1993. Chris is married and has two children.
