 Veterans' Day Remembrance

Dominion Christian Schools' Veterans' Day program will be on Friday, November 11 at 8 AM. Dominion will recognize the contribution and sacrifice that veterans have made to our country. Parents are welcome to attend. We wish to extend a special invitation to the veterans who are family members of our students.
In addition to the program, we would like to honor veterans and active-duty military by featuring their photograph in the DCS lobby. Please email a copy of their photo to Mrs. Huff ([email protected]). Please include their name, rank, military branch, years served, as well as the student they are representing.
Thank you for your participation in this effort to acknowledge the dedication and sacrifice our military has made for our freedom.

8th ANNUAL DIAPER DAY - OCTOBER 24

Dear Parents,
We are working with
the Cobb Children's Fund to organize Cobb Diaper Day which takes place October 24th at the Marietta Square.
Dominion is collecting diapers! All donated diapers will be given to the Center for Family Resources, MUST Ministries, Sweetwater Mission, United Military Care and the YWCA of Northwest Georgia for distribution to help ease some of the burden of the hundreds of families with infants that enter their doors each month.
Please drop diapers off in the school lobby; there will be a bin designated for donations. Deadline is Monday October 24th.

THANKSGIVING MEAL PROJECT

Please join Dominion in helping fifty local families have a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season. We are collecting various items to be donated on Thursday, November 17th.

Holiday House is right around the corner! Each year Dominion kicks off the season with their annual Holiday House. It is a great time for our families and the community to come together for fun activities, fellowship, great food, entertainment, and a silent auction (a great start for Holiday shopping).
We are looking for volunteers and especially DONATIONS. We need help gathering donation items for the silent auction to benefit DARTS, Dominion Fine Arts. (a few examples - event tickets, gift cards, one or two-night vacations, home decor, services, trips, gift baskets).
These donations from our Dominion family are very much appreciated. They are essential in making this event a huge success!

DCS is blessed with supportive parents and over the past few weeks a group of parents have been helping us with the planning of our annual Dominion Cup Golf Tournament. These parents have been busy soliciting sponsorships from local businesses. We wanted to give all of our school family the opportunity to participate through sponsorships or playing in the tournament.
The tournament will be held on Monday, November 7, at Bentwater Golf Club. Attached is the brochure for the tournament.

Dominion participates in several rewards programs including Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education, Coke Rewards, Publix Partners, and Amazon Smile.
- Box tops, Labels for Education, and Coke bottle caps/twelve pack certificates can be dropped off in the collection bin in the lobby or turned in to the front office.
- Publix Partner cards available to pick up at the front office as well.
