River City Ghost Tours
Paducah, KY

MHT's Ghost Tours have become a popular tradition during the Halloween season. The tours offer guests not only a ghostly perspective on familiar locations in downtown Paducah, but are also an opportunity to learn more about the area's rich history. Guides this year will be Michael Cochran, Marsha Cash, and Daniel Tkach. Stories include locations and buildings such as Hank Brothers Hardware, The First National Bank Building, Maiden Alley and the Cohen building.
Stories are based on research several years ago done by a committee led by Cindy Miller. Historical records and old newspapers were reviewed for ideas and details of some of the ghostly tales.
The tours begin at MHT's Studio Theatre, (120 Market Square, located next to Kirchhoff's and Etcetera Coffee). They are approximately 3/4 mile total distance and are wheelchair accessible. Guests are encouraged to bring weather-appropriate clothing.
The box office will also open one hour prior to the start of the first tour each evening for walk up sales.  Please note: Tickets go very quickly and it is recommended that you call early to make reservations.

Kaitlyn Baker & special Guest Justin Hatcher
Draffenville, KY.

Kaitlyn Baker's music reflects the beauty of the Cumberland Mountains and ruggedness of the coal mining culture in which she was raised. The "coal miner's daughter" has been performing professionally since she was a young girl, but has recently started to attract national attention." Her song "Coal Train" was featured in the 2015 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards ZinePak, an album that also included tracks by Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and other superstars. Earlier this year, her single "Heart of Appalachia" was designated the official theme song for tourism in her native Southwest Virginia. More recently, Baker released her heartbreakingly beautiful ballad "To Pieces," which was co-written by her frequent collaborator Janet Miller, who is from Murray, Kentucky.
Justin Hatcher is one of Western Kentucky's most talented singer/songwriters. Hatcher first performed at the Kentucky Opry at the age of 16, before joining his family's band, Sidewinder.    Adult $16, Senior $15, Student $10, Child $7.50  Showtime 7:30pm.
