Tonya Abbott
Director of Community Affairs

If any of you have ever received an email from me, you may have noticed my favorite quote from Winston Churchill.

"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give".

As a private, Catholic, college preparatory high school, we receive no federal or state tax dollars.  We rely primarily on the tuition you pay to have your student attend this great school.   Still, tuition alone does not cover the actual cost of a Garces education.  We estimate that every student receives at least a $2,000 subsidy.

How do we bridge the gap between the actual cost of education and what we ask from our families?  This is where you can help.

We reach out to our alumni, our families of alumni, our Catholic community, friends of Garces, and our current families.

The Garces Fund, an annual giving campaign for Garces has a goal this year of $300,000.  The contributions to The Garces Fund will help fund student programs and activities.  This includes academic and spiritual programs, athletics, and the visual and performing arts.

In the very near future you will be receiving information about our annual giving campaign. I hope when you review the information you will seriously consider supporting this effort.

Every gift makes a difference! I ask that you consider an amount that is generous, yet within your means.

A new online giving program will be up on our website within the next week.  Look for the "DONATE NOW" button on the home page of the Garces website.

Last year our parents contributed just under $60,000. This year if every family contributed just $20 a month, $85,000 of our $300,000 goal would come from our current families.

God Bless you for all you do for Garces Memorial High School.
