Message from the President

I want to truly thank the 22+ volunteers we had last Friday night at the All Star Boxing Match in Palm Bay. We could not run the event without the dedication of these truly wonderful people who freely give of their time and talent. This is a fabulous event and the Chamber is pleased to be a part of bringing this type of entertainment to Palm Bay. We are looking to partner again in 2017 with a boxing match in February and October. We will keep everyone posted.

It is time to register for our third Business Women of Brevard (BWB) meeting next Tuesday, October 25th. The Steering Committee went through over 75 questionnaire responses to plan for 2017. A lot of terrific ideas were generated and I know BWB attendees will find this group will assist them with their business needs. Of course we also have a lot of fun events planned. Come out Tuesday to get a sneak peek at some upcoming BWB events.

Business Women of Brevard

This version of Business Women of Brevard comes with two amazing speakers: Connie Harvey who is the director of Centennial Initiatives for Aquatics at the national headquarters of the American Red Cross and A journalist with 30 years of experience, Suzy Fleming Leonard. Suzy has been a reporter, columnist and editor at newspapers in Florida, Alabama and Louisiana. She came to FLORIDA TODAY in 1999, working as features editor and Style editor before her current assignment.
