Hello San Diego!
Welcome to August! We hope you are enjoying your summer here in beautiful San Diego. Our camp season is underway and it is wonderful to see all the happy children at Camp I CAN and Surf Camp. July marked the premiere of our brand new summer recreational program for adults during the first week of July. Thank you to Ecke YMCA for partnering with us on this exciting new program!
We also hosted a Family Beach Day in July at Moonlight Beach - thank you to everyone who came out and joined us. It was so much fun!

Camp I CAN is one of the highlights of our summer!

As we look forward to the fall, we are excited to announce our inaugural
Walk, Rock 'N' Roll for Autism, happening on Saturday, September 10th at Cal State San Marcos. This rocking 5K/1K will feature live music and entertainment, and all proceeds benefit our many recreational programs. The weekend of September 30-October 1 we will be enjoying our first
Family Camp in the hills of Julian at YMCA's Camp Marston!
Finally, be sure to save the date for our upcoming
50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, October 22nd! This event will be the culmination of our 50th anniversary year, and should not be missed!

The YMCA of San Diego County Overnight Camps and Autism Society San Diego have teamed up to provide families with a fun weekend in the mountains of Julian. Family time is important and there's no better place to make friends and be yourself than YMCA Camp Marston! Available to Autism Society San Diego members - families and children of all ages are welcome. Arrive Friday, September 30th and Depart Sunday, October 2nd. All meals included, special diets accommodated with advance notice, modern cabins with indoor restrooms. Join us for a fun and relaxing weekend this fall!
