September Impacts
NC State Extension in Currituck had a supremely productive September.  From pond management and plant sales to leadership development and nutrition classes, educational opportunities were abundant, meaningful and very well attended. Take a look at our September video for the latest update.

4-H 
Open House

Currituck Extension will host a 4-H Open House on  Saturday, November 19th , from  2:00-5:00 pm . Highlighted activities include, Robotics, Public Speaking, 4-H Projects, Sewing, Animal Science, Citizenship, Shooting Sports and much more. This is a free event for the entire family that you don't want to miss! 
Pesticide Applicator Class

The Currituck Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension will be sponsoring a continuing education class for commercial and private pesticide applicators on November 3rd starting at 8:30 am.  This event will be held at the Currituck Extension Center located at 120 Community Way in Barco, NC. 
 Medicare Open Enrollment

The Medicare Annual Election Period is Oct. 15- Dec. 7. Your health needs change from year to year, and in some cases the benefits and costs of your current health plan may also change yearly. It is important to regularly evaluate your Medicare choices. Schedule your appointment with one of our trained counselors today.
