Have You Tried These Hiden Gems?

Historic Kailua Village has nooks and crannies filled with shops and restaurants. If you haven't been to town lately, take the time to explore all the offerings. Check out these hidden gems around town-Ai Pono 100% Vegan Café, Broke Da Mouth Grindz, Sushi Shop Kyotoya and many more that offer a variety of great food and prices in Historic Kailua Village. Looking for Domino's? They have moved and expanded at Crossroads Shopping Center. Dine in, take out.

Kokua Kailua and Village Marketplace

Alii Drive in Historic Kailua Village comes alive this Sunday afternoon (October 16) from 1:00 to 6:00 pm as families (and leashed dogs too) are invited to enjoy the oceanfront stroll while supporting "buy local" at the popular Kokua Kailua event. Explore Village merchants, restaurants, musicians and artists as Alii Drive transforms to pedestrians only on Sunday afternoon.

And while you are there, support local crafters and artisans at the Historic Kailua Village Marketplace held in conjunction with Kokua Kailua. The Village Marketplace takes place on the oceanfront grounds of Hale Halawai. Bring your beach chair or mat, relax and enjoy live Hawaiian music in a setting just steps away from Kokua Kailua on Alii Drive.
