After graduating from the College of Law in 1997, Gabriel F. “Gabe” Jiménez practiced in Miami for two years as an insurance defense attorney before moving to North Carolina to join one of the state’s largest plaintiff firms. He now has his own firm, Jiménez Law Offices, in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is dedicated to the statewide representation of people injured in motor vehicle and workplace accidents. Jiménez has spent several semesters as an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina School of Law teaching a course on client representation. He previously served on the North Carolina Bar Association Board of Governors and on the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Hispanic/Latino Affairs. On October 17, Jiménez, along with fellow alum Kevin O’Brien (’01), will be helping the College of Law with recruiting by attending an event for prospective law students at Duke University.
