Tuesday, October 11th was National Coming Out Day! A moment in which the LGBTQ community honored their experience(s) of coming out and self empowerment. One in every two Americans has someone close to them who is lesbian or gay. For transgender people, that number is 1 in 10. Metro DC PFLAG stands with their loved ones this week and embraces all coming out stories.
