Registration for Passport: Round Trip to Health is Underway
It's time to pick a travel companion and pack your bags for a healthier lifestyle!
DPS employees who register by Oct. 24 can embark on a virtual worldwide journey to better health with Passport, visiting popular tourist attractions as well as out-of-the-way gems. Each week you'll touch down in a new country -- enjoying the postcard-perfect images and vivid descriptions -- as you earn points and patches for recording health habits. You can even win a real trip to the mountains!
In this six-week international journey to feeling your best, your Passport goal is to accumulate 600 points by recording exercise minutes, fruit and vegetable servings, and hours of sleep each day. You can earn bonus points by answering a Country Quiz correctly, and joining a weekly Tour Bus.
And, if you and your travel partner each earn 600 points, you will be entered to win a vacation get-away to the mountains!

Top 5: Celebrating College and Career Readiness Month
We asked you what you are doing to help our kids graduate college and career ready. The answer? Tons! Congrats to our random prizewinner Monica Gonzalez Reyes from Goldrick Elementary. Everyone had some amazing answers. Here the Top 5:

Benefits Terms Decoded: Video Visits for Kaiser Members
Team DPS, are you ready to play Benefits Terms Jeopardy? Here's how you play to win:
First, Benefits Terms Decoded: We'll "decode" one new benefits term in Team DPS Weekly every week through Oct. 20 (that's four new terms), and tell you more about how you can save time and money utilizing services provided by Kaiser and DHMP.
Second, starting Oct. 27, we'll test your knowledge of those terms. We'll ask a question. If you
email us
the correct answer, you'll be entered to win a prize. Winners are selected at random.
Now, for our second "decoded term":
Video Visits. Video Visits for Kaiser members are an alternative to in-person care. As long as you're registered on
kp.org and have access to the proper technology, you can work with your provider to determine whether your needs can be met in a Video Visit. Kaiser Permanente physicians, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants who provide scheduled outpatient care, in all specialties, adult and pediatric primary care can offer care by video.
