NEXT STEPS DIALOGUE Thursday, November 10, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
What is spiritual transformation? How does your faith tradition challenge and guide you to become a better person?
Explore these questions and more at the The Arizona Faith Network's Next Steps Dialogue
Transformation is a central vision of all religions. Come participate in this "Next Steps" open dialogue where you will find a safe space to share the gifts, insights and practices of your faith with people from Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Mormon, Baha'i and Christian faith traditions. Those who engage in honest open dialogue find themselves transformed, so Next Steps Dialogue goes beyond basic information about faith traditions provided in AFN's "101" events to delve more deeply into ways in which faith transforms daily life.
A box meal will be available at 6pm. A $10 donation is requested to defray the cost of the evening, including the meal. The dialogue begins at 7pm, at a central Phoenix location. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in interreligious dialogue and digging deeper, please request an invitation from Rabbi Sharfman by contacting Renee,info@congregationkehillah.org. Rabbi Sharfman will be part of this program. Those attending will be expected to actively participate in the dialogue.

Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America (JWV)
The JWV is looking for new members to keep its 120-year old legacy alive. Founded in 1896, JWV is one of the oldest veterans' organizations in America. The JWV is dedicated to upholding America's democratic tradition and fighting bigotry, prejudice, injustice and discrimination of all kinds. As a national organization, the JWV represents the voice of America's Jewish Veterans on issues related to Veterans' benefits, foreign policy and national security. JWV also commits itself to the assistance of oppressed Jews worldwide.
As you may know all Veterans organizations are in need of new members. Many of you served proudly in the military and the camaraderie made it a good experience. Arizona has five JWV posts, two that meet at the Veterans Home in Phoenix, one in Chandler and one in Tucson. For more information please contact the Post Commander:
