March is time to get gardens and orchards ready for growing. Come on out to learn something new or teach what you know to a friend or neighbor. All events are free and open to the community. Hope to see you this month on the river!

Everyone is invited to our free workshops on Grafting and Spring Greens & Eels. We can also use your help this month with gardening (Happy Camp or Orleans), Food Grove assessment,  and Roots and Shoots. Training provided! Klamath  Tribes 
Seed to Supper Classes - Sign up now for this great 6-week beginning gardener series starting  in March or April in a location near you! Meet once a week, 5:30 - 7pm in Chiloquin, Beatty or Klamath Falls. Dinner provided. Spots are still available - contact Food Security Program Coordinator Perri McDaniel, 541-882-1487 ext 235 to sign up. 

Community FEAST (Food, Education, Agriculture, Solutions Together) - Mark your calendar for Sat. April 2, 10am - 3pm at Chiloquin Community Center. Meet the folks who are raising, growing and sharing food in Chiloquin, and share a meal with your neighbors! Call Perri to reserve your seat.

   
Yurok Tribe
New Greenhouse - We'll be setting up a new greenhouse soon in the Weitchpec Community Garden, and we can use your help! For more information call Food Tech Jeannette Robbins at 530-625-4130.  To find out what's happening on the coast, call Chris Peters, 707-464-1852.

Grafting Workshop copresented with the Karuk Tribe -  3/26, 1 - 4pm, Elk Creek Ranch, Happy Camp. Learn to graft young seedlings and mature trees. Everyone leaves with a grafted apple tree! For more information contact Mark Dupont , 530-627-3202.

Afterschool in the Garden continues every Tuesday in Orleans, rain or shine. The kids love it when you volunteer! Questions? Ask Grant Gilkison, 530-627-3202.
