Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors & Members

All,

It is with a heavy heart, I announce the passing of one of the Chamber's staunchest advocates and Board member Mr. Samuel L. Brown. Throughout his over 30 years of service for the Chamber, he served as Chairman as well as countless other pivotal positions establishing programs and relationships that have stood the test of time. Sam, as he was known, continued to support the organization throughout in immeasurable ways. His leadership and communication demeanor will be missed but his legacy of service and commitment to the Dallas Community at large is profound and provides an example we can all live by.

The Wake will be held Thursday evening October 20, 2016 at Friendship West Baptist Church and the Funeral will be held on Friday October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. again at Friendship West Baptist Church.

Mr. Samuel (Sam) L. Brown will be missed. Please extend your condolences and prayers to the family during this time.
