Women Leaders Reflect on Careers in Technical Workplace
"Women in Technology" panel discussion hosted by Digital Rochester
Rochester, NYFive women leading successful careers in the technical workplace will reflect on their experiences over the past ten years. Women in Technology - Ten Years In, hosted by Digital Rochester, will take place on Thursday, October 20 at Constellation Brands.
 
The energetic panel will discuss what worked out the way they planned, what surprises they faced along the way and what recommendations they have for those starting a technical career, or supporting someone who is embarking on the journey.  
 
Women in Technology includes two half-hour networking sessions along with an open wine bar provided by Constellation Brands and appetizers. There will also be a technical ice-breaker activity before moderator Dawn DePerrior leads the panel discussion and audience Q&A session. 
 
The panel will feature: 
  • Kristen Curtze, Senior Web Developer, Pharos Systems International
  • Kourtney Gagliano-Plotzker, Enterprise Program Manager, City of Rochester
  • Katie Gaiek, Account Representative, Medisked
  • Bindu Kasarla, IT Manager, CooperVision
  • Angela Merrill, Library Systems Specialist, Roberts Wesleyan College
